Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and HomeBrief LLC ("HomeBrief," "we," "us") governing your use of homebrief.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

What the Service is

HomeBrief analyzes a walkthrough video of your home using AI and produces improvement recommendations with estimated costs, value impact, and returns. The Service is free for homeowners; we earn money through affiliate links and consented referral partnerships, described in our Disclosures.

Estimates, not advice

All outputs — recommendations, cost ranges, value estimates, ROI figures, and readiness assessments — are AI-generated estimates for informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, inspections, engineering assessments, or financial, legal, tax, or real estate advice, and actual costs and sale outcomes will vary. Consult qualified professionals before making significant decisions, and verify any recommendation before acting on it. We are not a licensed real estate broker, contractor, or lender.

Agent-reviewed reports

If your analysis is linked to a real estate agent — you used their invite or their link, or you told us they're your agent — your report goes to that agent first. You'll see it as a draft marked pending their review; the agent can remove recommendations, edit them, and add notes before publishing the version you keep. Once they publish, the reviewed version is the one shown everywhere the report appears, including any link you share. The agent is an independent professional, not our employee or agent, and their edits and advice are their own. Whether a report is agent-reviewed or not, the recommendations are informational planning estimates, not advice — see the section above.

Your content

• Only upload video of a property you own or have the owner's permission to record and share, and avoid capturing people who haven't agreed to appear.
• You retain ownership of your video. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze it (including with third-party AI providers) solely to provide the Service.
• Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or unrelated to a home walkthrough; we may reject or remove it.

Third parties

Shopping links lead to independent retailers, and confirmed referral requests are fulfilled by independent partners. We don't control and aren't responsible for their products, services, pricing, or conduct. Any transaction you enter with a retailer, agent, contractor, or lender is between you and them.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, interference with operation, or use of the Service to build a competing dataset. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, HomeBrief LLC's total liability arising out of the Service is limited to one hundred dollars ($100), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including decisions made in reliance on estimates.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Contact: support@homebrief.ai.
