Privacy Policy

This policy describes how HomeBrief LLC ("HomeBrief," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use homebrief.ai (the "Service").

What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and zip code when you sign up (directly or via Google sign-in).
• Your walkthrough video and property details — the video you upload, and the property address you optionally provide.
• Analysis results — the AI-generated description of your home, improvement recommendations, and estimates derived from your video.
• Requests you make — if you ask to be connected with an agent, contractor, or financing provider, we record that request and your consent.
• Usage data — standard logs, device information, and anonymized product analytics (including clicks on shopping links).

How we use it

• To analyze your video and generate your home report.
• To enrich your report with public property and market data.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• To make the introductions you explicitly request.
• To email you about your analyses and account.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run the product — our hosting, database/storage, and AI providers (currently Vercel, Supabase, and Google Gemini for video analysis), and a property-data provider (RentCast) when you supply an address. They process data on our behalf to deliver the Service.
• Referral partners — only with your explicit consent. When you confirm a request to be matched with an agent, contractor, or financing provider, we share your name, email, zip code, and a summary of the relevant request with the matching partner. We never sell or share your contact information for these purposes without that confirmation.
• Retailers — if you click a shopping link, the retailer and its affiliate network receive standard click information (see our Disclosures). We don't send them your name or email.
• People you share with — if you create a share link, anyone with that link can view a read-only summary of your report.
• Legal — if required by law or to protect the Service and its users.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded videos are stored only to produce your analysis and are deleted from storage once processing completes. Your report and account data are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@homebrief.ai, and we'll complete it within 30 days.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete your data — email us at the address above.
• Decline partner introductions — simply don't confirm a request; nothing is shared without confirmation.
• Disable share links you've created from your report page.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above, and notify account holders by email for significant changes.
